Install Mirava and add the Try it on button
Install Mirava from the Shopify App Store, turn on the Try-on loader app embed and place the Try it on block on your product page in a few minutes.
The Mirava team 2 min read
Mirava works with any Shopify theme. Online Store 2.0 themes get an app block you can place exactly where you want it; older themes can use a floating button instead. Setup takes about two minutes.
Before you start
- A Shopify store with an online store and at least one product with an image.
- Permission to install apps and edit the theme.
Mirava needs no other account or API key. The AI runs on our servers, and charges appear on your Shopify invoice.
1. Install the app
Open Mirava on the Shopify App Store, click Install and approve the permissions. You start on the Free plan with 30 try-ons a month.
2. Turn on the Try-on loader
- In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes and click Customize.
- Open App embeds in the left sidebar.
- Turn on Try-on loader and click Save.
The loader is tiny and runs on every page so that a try-on in progress follows the shopper around your store. The full widget script only loads when a shopper clicks the button.
3. Add the Try it on block
- In the theme editor, open a product template.
- In the product information section, click Add block → Apps → Try it on.
- Drag it under the Buy buttons and click Save.
The block picks up the product automatically. Its label, icon and style come from the Widget page in the app, so you set them once for the whole store.
Theme without app blocks? In the app, go to Widget and turn on Show a floating button on product pages. The loader from step 2 shows the button for you.
4. Check it on your store
Open a product page, click Try it on, then upload a photo of yourself. After about a minute a before/after slider appears. Your first try-ons use your plan’s allowance like any other.
Next steps
- Set daily limits and a monthly budget so costs stay predictable.
- Turn on ready-made models for shoppers who don’t want to upload a photo.
- Match colors, corners and fonts on the Widget page, with a live preview.
