Set daily limits and a monthly budget
Control how many try-ons run per shopper, per day and per month, choose which products show the button, and keep AI costs predictable.

Every try-on is an AI generation, so Mirava gives you several limits that work together. You’ll find them all in the app under Settings.
The limits
| Setting | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Guest try-ons per day | Per shopper who is not signed in | 3 |
| Customer try-ons per day | Per signed-in customer | 10 |
| Store try-ons per day | All shoppers combined | 200 |
| Monthly try-on cap | Try-ons stop for the month when it is reached | No cap |
A higher customer limit is a gentle nudge to sign in. When a guest runs out, the try-on window offers to sign in for more.
How limits interact with your plan
Your plan includes a number of try-ons each month: 30 on Free, 400 on Starter, 1,200 on Growth and 4,000 on Scale. On paid plans you can tick Allow extra try-ons beyond the plan allowance to keep going at $0.05 each. Extra try-ons stop at the Monthly try-on cap, so that number is your spending limit. If you leave it empty, the cap is three times your plan’s allowance.
Without extra try-ons, the cap can only lower your plan allowance, for example to spread try-ons across the month.
Try-ons that fail, and photos that are rejected by screening, don’t count.
Choose which products show try-on
Under Products → Which products show try-on, pick one of:
- All products
- Only products with a tag: add the tag you choose, for example
tryon, to the products you want. - All products except those with a tag: tag products like socks or gift cards to hide the button.
Tags match regardless of upper and lower case. The button disappears from excluded products, and the server refuses try-ons for them too.
Photo screening
Screen uploaded photos is on by default. Photos with no person, several people or unsuitable content are turned away with a friendly message before they use a try-on. We recommend leaving it on.
Turn try-on off instantly
Show try-on on the storefront removes the button from every product page at once, without touching your theme. Turn it back on whenever you like.
